David and Maya Kerr-McMullan - Authors

David is a jolly middle-aged Englishman who likes nothing better than writing children’s poems whilst sipping a cup of tea.

Originally a philosopher David entertains all types of writing work including poetry, journalism and marketing promotions.

Inspired by his own children and grandchild, David wanted to spread the joy of poetry to kids of all ages by using it to bring lovable and relatable characters to life by utilizing a theme of ‘struggling against adversity.’ Banger the Sausage Dog – Lost in London was  the perfect vehicle to spread that joy. David is aided in his task by his 9-year-old daughter Maya, who is a constant source of inspiration and even criticism! David and Maya intend to write a series of illustrated poetry books for kids.

Paul Jamiol - Illustrator

Paul, an avid motorcyclist, has been cartooning and illustrating for the past 40 plus years. His cartoons and illustrations have been featured in various magazines and newspapers. Paul is also the author and illustrator of several children's books of his own.

Dave and Paul became friends over their interest in motorcycles. Dave showed Paul a poem he had written about a little lost sausage dog. Fast forward a couple of years and that little sausage dog has come to life in Banger the Sausage Dog - Lost in London.

Linda Habib - Editor

Linda is the editor of Banger the Sausage Dog - Lost in London. Linda brings her editing expertise from the many children's books she has worked on. Her job has been to keep Dave on his toes with his writing and Paul on his toes with his illustrations. She has handled her work on Banger with a keen eye infused with charm and grace.
